Neoliberalism

Neoliberalisme is a western ideology which only prioritizes economic growth with no attention to its equal distribution. This ideology emphasize to marginalization of poor people in the name of development for national economic growth. Neoliberalist said that this capitalistic economic growth will bring benefit to the poor by what they called “trickle down effect”. Awfully, in real life, development process only works for the sake of rich people, there are nothing dropped to the poor. In fact, this kind of ideology based on individualism .and it tries to erase solidarity culure among the people, clearly it is violates Indonesian native culture.

Neoliberalism ensures that economic rule must control all sector in human life. Governments role to protect people must be eliminated when they intervere market and opposing the economic rule. As the result, neoliberalism reduce government role to respect, fulfill and protect the peoples right towards health, education, proper and prosperity, national sovereignty and environment preservation. The fact shows that in the last 20 year there is a wide range of inequality in all nations using neoliberalism as their economic ideology.
